Need some adivise, will a model 417 loader with 60" bucket fit on a new model 7000 machine. The web site says that the 7000 uses a 475 loader with 48" bucket. If carefull not to overload the 471 would it mount to a model 7000?

You will not always be careful enough not to over load the bucket. I have 7360 with 66" bucket and a 7.5' hoe on back with fluid in the rear tires and still over load the loader. Cub says 475 loader for good reasons, weight transfer to the loader and subframe have already been tested and this is their call. Don't break your tractor and void your warranty. The max cu.ft. of 48" bucket is 6. cu. ft., 60" bucket 10.1 cu. ft. make 2 trips and enjoy your tractor. ....

Your 417 loader is made by Woods and resold by Cub. It will fit these models 7234, 7235, 7260, 7265, 7274, 7275, 7300, and 7305. Of course, the 476 is the new version loader and is more rigid than the 417. The 475 is smaller and only fits the 7000, 7200, and 7205. I strongly reccomend the 7305 (30hp hydro with the either 417 or 476). Good Luck! -CubGuy ....
